Untwine is a melancholy read about twin sisters, Giselle and Isabelle. Isabelle is a gifted flutist and singer who is killed when the family gets into an automobile accident on their way to Isabelle's performance. As Giselle begins to question her identity and sanity - her whole world unravels. Who is she without her twin sister Isabelle, someone she's been intertwined with since the womb! The two were even born holding hands. The pacing of the book is a slow simmer, and more for the introspective reader.

Recommendation: A quiet sad story. If that's your type of read, this is for you.

Audience: Young Adults (12 and up)
