This Christian self-help book was an alchemy of Joyce Meyers and and Brené Brown.

Leeana Tankersley, a mother, artist, and writer uses her own life experiences and Christian faith to achieve balance, seek authenticity, and practice self love and care. Tankersley's struggle to resist the oppression of perfection could be relatable to many women, particularly moms. Tankersley is a mother of twins, and uses her personal experiences moving abroad, dropping a bag of groceries meant for those less fortunate, and feeling competitive with other moms brings her to search her soul and find her path to living bravely.

Though this book has a religious message, it doesn’t come off as preachy. Readers who enjoy religious self-help books will probably enjoy this book. The writing is solid and relatable.
